Advanced Dungeons & Dragons

Undoubtedly the biggest selling roleplaying game of all time, and played by so many that its acronyms should be considered part of the gamer vernacular. This fantasy game, which if you have not played yet (gasp!) places you in the role of a hero or heroine who will so often beat up that nasty monster and grab the treasure as loot.

Necronomicon proudly presents the Advanced D&D championship. Each tournament will be judged separately, but teams entering all three games will also be eligible for the Dungeons and Dragons award and have their teams name engraved upon the perpetual trophy.

Your Party is hereby called before Akihiro, JADE DRAGON and 18 times emperor to the Eastern Realms of Kara Tur. It is our wish that you perform a rescue of the utmost importance to maintain the honor of his Excellency and obtain riches beyond your wildest dreams. We realize such a mission is perilous but have no doubts about the abilities of such gifted individuals. Worry not. Masters of your skill should have little to no difficulty facing the otherwordly challenges that lie ahead. As always, your aid will be compensated, accompanied by the well wishes of the JADE DRAGON himself. Honour to your house and may the spirits be with you.

"As always, should you or any member of your team be caught or killed, the Harpers will disavow any knowledge of your existence

"This message will self-destruct in three minutes..."

The ruins of the priory have been home for stoats for seasons beyond counting. Five young brothers playing happily in the warmth of summer have suddenly found their carefree days over:

Where have all the humans gone?
What are the mysterious figures that scour the priory by night?
Why have they been shunned by all the other beasts?
And just what is Eustace babbling on about now?

From out of the mystery, a quest beckons the five to adventure and beyond!

An AD&D 2nd Ed. adventure for 5 young stoats confronting mystery, adventure and adversity. A non-anthropomorphic real world fantasy. Standard AD&D rules and character classes (including specialty priests) will be used.
